Due to Tom Hunter's recent passing (to learn more, go to tomhunterblog.blogspot.com), there was some question as to whether or not to have the Northwest Teachers Conference (NWTC) in this year.  When several participants heard the news, they decided to do it anyway, to keep it going.  It was an amazing week.

There is now energy toward creating something new with it's roots grounded in Tom and Richard's philosophies of years past.  Tom was still able to understand when he heard that NWTC was going to happen.  He was excited and proud of the years of collaboration with Richard and others that created a wonderfully unique week to help people who work with children get rejuvenated and validated for their hard and often under-appreciated work.  So, the dates have been set!

Sunday, July 5th - Friday, July 10th of 2009 at Camp Brotherhood
